When you play a piano, the time from the beginning of a sound until it gradually fades and ends is extremely long, and this helps to create the Clavinova deep, rich sound. The Yamaha Clavinova Piano achieves the same type of beautiful, lingering tones by using extra-long sound samples — samples recorded until just before the sound fully disappears.

The action of an acoustic piano is created by skillfully combining more then 80 parts for each key which requires scrupulous adjustments at every stage. Yamaha extensive expertise in building these actions enables craftsmen to make the Clavinova as pleasant to play as an acoustic piano while providing the same expressive power.

Another feature of the Yamaha Clavinova is the color variations, which can be selected according to your decor or individual preference. The Clavinova deep lustrous finish with rich textures are the same process used on Yamaha Pianos.
